Russia announces new government list
The reference news network reported on May 13 that According to a report by RIA Novosti on May 12th, Alexander Zhukov, the first deputy speaker of the Russian State Duma (the lower house of parliament), told reporters that all committees of the State Duma have agreed to the candidate for cabinet minister nominated by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The report said that he stressed: "All candidates have received the support of parliamentarians."
He added that the meetings of all 18 committees of the State Duma have ended, and the candidates have shown absolute competence and have a clear and definite understanding of the work they are going to do in their new positions.
The report also said that at the State Duma meeting on the 13th and 14th, a vote will be held on the candidates for vice premier and several ministers.

The heads of the Ministry of Defence, the Federal Security Service, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are appointed by the head of state himself after consultation with the Federal Council (the upper house of parliament).
